Handcrafted percussion mallets
                produced by

Glenn F. Smith

Glenn Smith is a master craftsman who behind the scenes has produced percussion products and prototypes for over 30 years for leading manufacturers and artists.   His mallets are now used by musicians in orchestras around the world.  After many years of collaboration with artists in development of mallets for specific sound requirements, he is using his vast experience to present his new array of mallets made and sold exclusively by him.  His years of expertise in working with various raw materials enable him to select only the finest woods, felts, and bamboo sourced from all over the world.  Each mallet is hand-sanded, finished, assembled, and inspected by Glenn.   Because Glenn has over 35 years of percussion performance experience in orchestral settings, he is knowledgeable in discussing with the artist what kind of product is needed to achieve the nuanced sound performance desired.

Glenn has developed a line of top-quality models, suitable for a range of styles, that will provide an artist with ideal sticks to accommodate a broad repertoire.  His plans are to add to that line as new items are developed.   Should your mallet requirements be more specific, give Glenn a call at the number below, and he will gladly discuss options and designs with you to determine the mallet that is right for your needs.
